Po bros ramp up Potato Corner’s expansion in Asia: New branches open in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia; and soon in China
Potato Corner, a popular food kiosk chain operator known for its flavored French Fries, has further expanded its footprint in Southeast Asia with the opening of new branches in Thailand, Cambodia and Thailand.
The new outlets are located at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand, one of Southeast Asia’s busiest airports; Lucky Plaza in Singapore, an iconic shopping center located along Orchard Road and the center of the Filipino community; and Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall in Cambodia, which is the largest shopping center in Phnom Penh.
SPAVI said the Lucky Plaza branch is Potato Corner’s 14th store in Singapore since its entry in 2018.
Potato Corner has opened a total of 33 new stores overseas since it was acquired by the Po family’s Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. in March this year.
It now has over 1,100 stores in the Philippines and almost 200 outlets across 12 countries.
Potato Corner will continue its aggressive expansion for the rest of the year with new store openings planned in China and other new markets in line with the Po family’s vision of putting up a branch in every corner of the world.
PIZZA president and CEO Vicente Gregorio has committed to sustain business growth with continuous investments in its brands, stores, and its people.
